CIC 501 Inserm/UdA /CHU/CJP Centre d’Investigation Clinique

Le Centre d’Investigation Clinique de Clermont-Fd (Inserm CIC-501) est une plate-forme plurithématique regroupant le Centre de Pharmacologie Clinique (CHU), l’Unité de Recherche Clinique en Cancérologie (CJP) et l’Unité de Thérapie Cellulaire (CHU Hôtel-Dieu).

Cette structure dispose de 20 lits et plusieurs salles d’exploration fonctionnelle totalement dédiés à la recherche clinique. Le personnel du CIC (médecins, pharmaciens, infirmières de recherche, ARC, TEC…) ont une expérience et une formation spécifiques à la recherche clinique. Le CPC dispose d’un plateau technique particulièrement performant pour les études sur la douleur et l’évaluation des médicaments antalgiques mais la structure est ouverte aux investigateurs cliniciens de toutes les disciplines.

Les ressources locales en méthodologie, biostatistique, épidémiologie et gestion de données sont regroupées au sein de l’Unité Soutien Méthodologique à la Recherche (USMR) qui fait partie intégrante du CIC.

Les thématiques prioritaires du CIC se répartissent sur les trois axes suivants : Neurosciences, Oncologie, Génétique et Développement qui s’inscrivent clairement dans la politique de site définie conjointement par l’Université d’Auvergne, le CHU et l’Inserm, en cohérence avec l’IFR Santé Auvergne et le Contrat Quadriennal.

Le CIC conduit dans ses locaux 15 à 25 études avec l’inclusion de 400 à 600 patients ou sujets volontaires chaque année.
Cette structure est un lieu de formation théorique et pratique aux pratiques et aux méthodologies de la recherche clinique..
